mmmm, i love soft batch! thanks so much for this recipe!
I'm a cookie baker...and the pudding is the secret. You can add pudding to just about any cookie recipe to get a thicker, chewier/softer cookie (try it with nestle tollhouse- make a MUCH better cookie!).
You can also use any flavor pudding you want - try chocolate for chocolate chocolate-ship cookies! Butterscotch works ok, too, depending upon the recipe (nice in oatmeal cookies). Sugar-free pudding mix works, but the consistency isn't the same.
I'm going to have to try adding pudding to my next batch of cookies! Thanks for the tip.
I just got these cookies in the oven so I haven't tasted the final product...but the dough tastes amazing!!!
I didn't have vanilla pudding mix on hand so I substituted with chocolate. I can't wait for them to be done. Snacktime is going to be good for my little boy today!
