Green Salsa

1 (32 oz) can whole tomatoes
1/2 Tbsp salt
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp crushed red pepper
1/2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 Jalapeno to taste
3-4 bunches cilantro
Juice of 1 lime
Blend everything together adding cilantro bunch by bunch last.

Orange Creamsicle Fruit Dip



This is such a refreshing and yummy fruit dip. Perfect for summer!

1(8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1(3.4 ounce) small package instant vanilla pudding mix
1(6 ounce) container of frozen (concentrated)orange juice,slightly thawed
Fruit for dipping such as strawberries, apples, grapes, pineapple

Mix the whipped topping, vanilla pudding mix, and orange
juice together until well combined. If needed add a
little water to make it to the desired consistency.
Prepare the fruit by washing and cutting it.
Refrigerate dip until ready to serve.

Caramel Crunch Apple Dip

Recipe from Yummy Fun


8oz Cream Cheese
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3+ Cup Chocolate Chips (or to taste)
1 Cup Toffee Chips (or to taste)

On the stove top melt cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth. Remove
from heat and add chocolate chips and toffee chips to taste. Serve with sliced
apples.

Valory's Veggie Ranch Dip

Saw this on my friend, Natalie's, blog today(100 Percent Cottam). Sounds like an awesome veggie dip for the Super Bowl!

2 cups mayo
2 cups sour cream
2 cups grated cheddar cheese (it's so much better if you grate your own!)
2 bunches green onions, sliced (whites only)
1 Ranch "Dips" packet

Mix together & chill for a couple hours. Serve with veggies, crackers, pita chips, etc. Note from Natalie: This makes a GIANT batch!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Check out this yummy Buffalo Chicken dip from
Tidy Mom. This would be a yummy dip
for my New Year's Eve party. I just might
have to make it.

3-4 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
8oz. Ranch dressing
2 -8 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
8 oz. Hot Sauce, or Wing Sauce
2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese (save some to sprinkle on top)

Cook and shred chicken (I throw my chicken breast on a pan
and bake in the oven for about 30-40 mins at 350)
Mix ranch dressing, cream cheese ,sauce and 1 cup of
cheddar cheese until well blended.
Add chicken and mix by hand. Place in 8×8 square pan.
Sprinkle remaining cup of cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 350
for 30 mins.

Serve with tortilla chips!

Toffee Apple Dip

My good friend Amanda gave me this recipe-super easy and soooo yummy!

3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup HEATH milk chocolate toffee bits (in chocolate chip aisle)

Combine sugars, cheese, and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Stir in toffee bits and mix well. Cover then chill. Enjoy!

Cowboy Caviar


1 can black beans, drained
3 large tomatoes, chopped
3 large avocados, chopped
2 Tbs chopped green onions
1 package dry Italian dressing
2 Tbs olive oil
1/4 cup white vinegar
3 Tbs water

In a large bowl mix corn, peas, tomatoes, avocados and
onions. In another bowl mix the dry Italian dressing,
olive oil, vinegar and water. Pour the dressing over the
vegetable mixture and toss until evenly coated.
Serve with tortilla chips.

Berry Blue Cheese Spread

½ c. dried blueberries
1 c. boiling water
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
6 oz. blue cheese, coarsely crumbled
2 green onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
½ c. coarsely chopped pecans
Assorted whole grain crackers

Place dried berries in a small bowl. Pour boiling water over
berries. Let stand 1 minute. Drain; set aside.In a large mixing
bowl beat cream cheese and blue cheese with an electric mixer
on medium speed until nearly smooth. Stir in drained berries,
green onions, and garlic just until combined. Transfer spread
to a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate up to 4 hours before serving.
To serve, sprinkle with pecans and serve with crackers.

Apples and Dip

1 (8 ounce) pkg. cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup Skor English toffee bits
found these in chocolate chip section
apple slices

Beat cream and brown sugar until smooth. Stir in toffee
bits. Slice apples just before serving.

Shrimp Dip and Crackers

1 can of small shrimp
1 bottle of cocktail sauce
1 brick of cream cheese
Wheat Thins or crackers of your choice

Mix the shrimp and the cocktail sauce. Put the brick
of cream on a plate. Pour sauce over it. Serve with crackers.

Pumpkin Dip

2 cups powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
15 oz. can pumpkin
1/2 t. ground cinnamon
1/4 t. ground ginger

Mix sugar and cream cheese together beating until well blended.
Beat in remaining ingredients.Store in airtight container in
refrigerator. Serve with gingersnap cookies and apples.
*You could also serve the dip in a small pumpkin.

Tempting Chili Dip

1 8oz. package cream cheese
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 (15oz.) can chili with no beans
Combine softened cream cheese, cheese, and chili
in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring
frequently until cream cheese is melted. Serve
with tortilla chips.
We enjoyed this dip while watching football this

Alfredo Dip for Breadsticks

1/2 c. butter
2 c. heavy cream
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper

Melt butter over medium heat. Add the cream, garlic powder,
and pepper. Simmer of 10 to 12 minutes or until thick. Stir
in some Parmesan cheese and serve with breadsticks or you
could also serve with noodles.

Fruit Pizza


This is the best fruit pizza recipe!
1 (14-16 oz.) package sugar cookie mix and ingredients needed on package to prepare
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese(softened)
2 tbsp. sour cream
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 to 3 c. sliced fruit of your choice


Preheat oven to 350* F. Mix cookie dough according to package directions. Lightly grease a 12 " pizza pan(or rectangle sheet). Press cookie dough into pan, about 1/8" thick. Bake 9-10 minutes or until edges begin to brown. Cool.

Combine cream cheese, sour cream, powdered sugar, lemon rind, and lemon juice and spread over the crust. Arrange fruit slices on top to create your own design-the possibilities are endless! Me and my girls made the flag pizza pictured above for the 4th of July.

Spinach Dip

1 (10 oz.) package frozen chopped spinach
1 pint sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (1 ounce) pkg. ranch dressing mix

Cook spinach according to package. Drain
well. Chop spinach. Stir in rest of ingredients
and chill. This dip is great for vegetables or chips!

Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Chips

2 apples(1 red, 1 green) peeled, cored, and diced
1 c. strawberries, hulled and diced
1 c. kiwi, peeled and diced
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. raspberry jam

Mix all ingredients together. Add more brown sugar to taste if you like it sweeter(that would be me:). Serve with cinnamon chips: Slice flour tortillas into triangles. Spray with water or butter flavored cooking spray. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake at 475* for 5 minutes.

This is a great snack, appetizer, or something delicious to bring to a brunch!

Classic Deviled Eggs


6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise

¼ cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

½ teaspoon dry ground mustard

½ teaspoon white vinegar

1/8 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Paprika for garnish


Remove the egg yolks and place in a small bowl. Mash with a fork. Add mayonnaise, mustard powder, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Fill the empty egg white shells with the mixture and sprinkle lightly with paprika. Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to one day before serving.

Hot Sausage Dip

1- Brown 1 lb. Hot Jimmy Dean Sausage
2- Simmer until tender with sausage and
grease the following diced items.
* 1 large tomato
* 1 large bell pepper
* 1 large onion
* 1 7oz. can diced green chillies
* 1 7oz. can jalapenos(sliced)
3- Combine in crockpot with 2 12 oz. cream cheese,
1 16 oz. sour cream. As sauce thickins add another
16 oz. sour cream. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Chex Vanilla Chunks

I haven't tried this yet, but will soon. It sounds like a yummy snack!

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3 cups Corn Chex cereal
3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
2 cups salted dry-roasted peanuts
2 cups small pretzel twists
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 package (20 oz.) vanilla-flavored candy coating(almond bark)

Place chocolate chips in freezer to chill. In large bowl, mix cereals, peanuts, pretzels and marshmallows; set aside. In large microwaveable bowl, microwave candy coating uncovered on High 1 minute 30 seconds; stir, breaking up large chunks. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until coating can be stirred smooth. Gently and quickly fold cereal mixture into coatin with rubber spatula, stirring gently until evenly coated. Stir in chilled chocolate chips. Spread on waxed paper; cool completely, about 30 minutes. Break into chunks. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

Pineapple Cheese Ball

2 8oz pkgs. cream cheese
1 8oz can crushed pineapple(drained)
2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
dash of salt

Let cream cheese stand until soft. Add pineapple,
one cup nuts, green pepper, onion, and salt. Blend
together. Shape into a ball. Let it set up in the
refrigerator for a couple of hours. Roll ball in
remaining nuts. Serve with crackers!
